Food As Medicine
Our hands-on services can be offered using one or more treatment implements. Massage can be accommodated with a massage chair, table or floor mat, while acupuncture requires a chair or massage table. The choice to use any one of these implements will be dependent upon the particular event, desire of interested parties, and logistics of space made availabile within each location. Our therapists will provide all necessary equipment to perform their services.
Clients choosing to utilize our services on a recurring basis may find it beneficial to invest in one of more of these implements, and to potentially make a dedicated treatment room available for their sessions, as able. We apply a discount for these types of accommodations.

Massage
Massage is a time-tested a powerful healing modality, touted for its abilities to calm the mind and relax the body.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is just one modality within the holistic system of Chinese medicine. Due to an emphasis on the energetic anatomy of the body, Chinese medicine can often address concerns in a way that other models may overlook, and represents a growing trend in people seeking traditional healthcare alternatives or looking to supplement their existing wellness care. Though it has been developing and practiced over the past several thousands of years, acupuncture's exposure to mainstream culture in the United States is relatively recent (the past 50-60 years). It involves the use of near hair-thin needles, along with other appropriate methods, to stimulate specific points and zones around the body, assisting a person towards a state of equilibrium. Because each individual is unique, tailored questions paired with other diagnostic measures like pulse reading and observation will guide the practitioner towards a treatment plan. Acupuncture often produces sensations of relaxation, euphoria and clarity. Because of the holistic nature of Chinese medicine, this push towards equilibrium can often result in reduced symptoms of pain and dysfunction and yield increase in physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
Mindful Movement
Mindful movement is a general descriptive term for a variety of therapies and activities that incorporate physical movement with mindfulness. These modalities all inherently include varying durations and degrees of meditation within the practice as a way to enhance awareness and relaxation. The two main mindful movement modalities currently offered through Right Here Wellness are: qigong and yoga. These modalities can accommodate class-style setting for large or small groups as well as private, individualized sessions. Space requirements are dependent upon group size. Typically a larger conference room or movement studio will be adequate. They can also be offered in any outdoor venue, size and weather dependent. Yoga classes typically utilize specialized mats for each participant. Large towels can be used as a replacement, but may be ideal. There are various other props that can help facilitate the yoga experience. These mats and props can be provided by our therapists, however participants are encouraged to bring their own. For companies wishing to offer yoga as an ongoing feature, purchasing their own select number of mats and props can be more optimal. Qigong does not require any additional materials. For both yoga and Qigong, loose fitting or exercise attire is ideal for maximized comfort.
