Mindful Movement
Mindful movement is a general descriptive term for a variety of therapies and activities that incorporate physical movement with mindfulness. These modalities all inherently include varying durations and degrees of meditation within the practice as a way to enhance awareness and relaxation.
Current movement class offerings include
qigong, yoga, fitness, breath work, and sound healing.

Qigong is a centuries-old self-cultivation practice involving a series of movements and standing meditations geared to nourish and hone one’s energy center. Qigong boosts vitality, calms the mind and strengthens hand-eye coordination. Many of the moves taught can be isolated and utilized as stand-alone therapies for certain health conditions.

Yoga is well known for its ability to engage the physical body while relaxing the mind. It can help reduce stress, enhance mood, improve circulation, promote awareness, and increase strength and flexibility.

Fitness is a popular and fun way to improve metabolic functioning while increasing circulation and boosting mood. A variety of class styles can be offered to accommodate the specific needs and desires of the group.

Breath Work is a time-honored practice to calm the nervous system and strengthen the connections of mind, body, and spirit.

Sound Healing is an ancient therapeutic modality using frequency to influence the mind and body. It enhances emotional balance, mental clarity, and metabolic functioning.
